    thanks, this science assignment im doing asks wat me difference is between an ionic bond and a covalent bond. I knew wat an ionic bond was but i had no clue wat a covalent bond was and now i know! its when two nonmetals share electrons

    If H1 shares electron with Oxygen .. Hydrogen will obtain 2 electrons and follows the Configuration of Helium which is Excepted in Octet Rule .. and because Helium is Stable .. Hydrogen1 -1 is stable too

    In this Covalent Bond, (We will use the Hydrogen example seeing how it’s the most basic)Is this an actual bond like H2O? Or is it a kind of sharing of space next to one another? I understand that they may share the electron with each other, but does this make H1 or would it be H2? I’m a little confused…
    Any help would be appreciated.
