De’Aundre Bonds talks about how he got into the acting business and his first role in a mini series called “South of Sunset.”

He eventually signed with Angel City Talent and booked several movies during the 1990s before he was arrested for murder in 2001.

He appeared in Get on the Bus, Tales from the Hood, Sunset Park, The Wood, 3 Strikes, and Lockdown. He has worked with Denzel Washington, Spike Lee and Danny DeVito among many other actors. He has appeared in movies with Gabriel Casseus, Hill Harper, Melinda Williams, Omar Epps, Richard Jones and Ossie Davis.

He also landed a role in the Antwone Fisher movie which he never had a chance to complete because of his arrest in 2001.

    In lockdown, when he got into drugs and turned addict I thought he played that role well, his acting really convinced me.

    He is fine as hell and I loved him in all the movies he played in. He was a great actor. I **** he’s in prison but, he did the crime. God changed him for the better. When he leaves prison, he will leave a better man. He has great potential, and I look foward to the great movies he will make in the future.
